Laura Escobar is from Del Rio, Texas and is currently pursuing her undergraduate in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Physics. She was an NIH-ESTEEMED scholar and hopes to someday obtain a PhD. Laura joined the MDI lab in Fall 2024 and has since been under the FMD project. Outside of university, Laura likes to play video games, code, and is a cat mom!
